Benefits of Membership

F.A.M.E. values your family's membership and offers you and your student(s) the following benefits:

  • monthly newsletters about district-wide art, music, and theatre  happenings

  • monthly meetings where you can learn about district-wide arts happenings, vote on funding requests, meet SPS arts faculty, and network with other parents/guardians

  • eligibility for a college scholarship

  • knowing that you are improving arts education and supporting the arts faculty in the Sharon Public Schools

F.A.M.E. Angels & Program Ads

F.A.M.E. produces programs for the Sharon High School musical and the Sharon Middle School musical and play. Support the cast, crew, directors, and arts education in Sharon by placing an ad in a program.

In addition, we offer our dedicated family supporters a special level of support – the opportunity to become a F.A.M.E. Angel. F.A.M.E. Angels receive:


•    A full-page ad in each of 3 programs for the Sharon High School musical and the Sharon Middle School musical and play
•    Your name on F.A.M.E. signage at over 20 school events
•    Your name on F.A.M.E.'s website and monthly newsletters

To become a F.A.M.E. Angel or place an ad in the program for Sharon Middle School's upcoming Myth Understandings Play, fill out the form here. The deadline is Friday, April 5, 2024.Sorry, we cannot accept late submissions due to printing constraints.

F.A.M.E. is only as strong as our volunteers. We welcome your ideas and enthusiasm at our monthly meetings, and on our board. Email famesharon02067@gmail.com for more information about volunteer opportunities.

College Scholarships

F.A.M.E. awards college scholarships to Sharon High School seniors who are involved in art, music, theatre, and/or media production at Sharon High School and whose families are members of F.A.M.E. for their junior and senior years. The membership requirement is waived for seniors whose families qualify for free or reduced school lunch. The F.A.M.E. scholarship application is emailed to eligible seniors' families in February, the deadline is in March, and recipients are announced in May.

Any F.A.M.E. member who is not the parent/guardian of a current Sharon High School senior may serve on this school year's scholarship committee. The committee reviews applications without applicants' identities. The committee may award multiple scholarships of varying monetary amounts based on applicants' essays and their level of involvement in art, music, theatre, and/or media production at Sharon High School.
